Skinbee Founder Dr. Dwaipaika Chakraborty at Bengal Business Council’s Vision Conclave 4.0
The Annual Convention & Vision Conclave 4.0, organised by the Bengal Business Council, brought together more than 1,000 entrepreneurs, business leaders, professionals and changemakers from Kolkata, Siliguri, Durgapur and different parts of West Bengal.
Held at the Biswa Bangla Convention Centre, the event emerged as a significant platform for meaningful conversations, networking and collaboration, with participants coming together to exchange ideas and explore new opportunities for Bengal’s business community.
The conclave was inaugurated with a dignified opening ceremony on the main stage, beginning with the National Anthem and the ceremonial watering of a plant, symbolising growth, unity and a shared commitment to Bengal’s future.
The opening ceremony was attended by Dr. Ashok Lahiri, Vice Chairman of NITI Aayog; Shri Swapan Dasgupta, Hon’ble Minister-in-Charge, Department of Finance, Government of West Bengal; Shri Tapas Roy, Hon’ble Minister-in-Charge, Department of Industry, Commerce & Enterprises, Government of West Bengal; Dr. Subrata Gupta, Chief Advisor to the Hon’ble Chief Minister, Government of West Bengal; and Dr. Shankar Ghosh, Hon’ble Minister-in-Charge, Department of Tourism and Parliamentary Affairs, Government of West Bengal.
Among those present at the event was Dr. Dwaipaika Chakraborty, Founder of Skinbee, who described the occasion as an honour and highlighted the importance of the Bengal Business Council as a powerful platform connecting entrepreneurs, business leaders, professionals and changemakers from across the state.
She further emphasised that the gathering was about much more than business networking. According to her, the participation of entrepreneurs from different parts of West Bengal created an environment for ideas, collaboration, mentorship and the creation of new possibilities for the state’s business community.
With participation from more than 1,000 entrepreneurs, the conclave showcased the diversity and growing strength of Bengal’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. From Kolkata to Siliguri, Durgapur and other parts of the state, business professionals and emerging entrepreneurs came together with a common objective—to build stronger connections and explore new avenues for growth.
The day-long event set the stage for meaningful dialogue and collaboration, while highlighting the importance of collective efforts in creating a stronger, more dynamic and prosperous business environment in Bengal.
